Cover Reveal: Obsession by Jennifer L. Armentrout

OBSESSION official Blurb:

He’s arrogant, domineering, and… To. Die. For.

Hunter is a ruthless killer. And the Department of Defense has him firmly in their grasp, which usually doesn’t chafe too badly because he gets to kill bad guys. Most of the time he enjoys his job. That is, until he’s saddled with something he’s never had to do before: protect a human from his mortal enemy.

Serena Cross didn’t believe her best friend when she claimed to have seen the son of a powerful senator turn into something…unnatural. Who would? But then she witnesses her friend’s murder at the hands of what can only be an alien, thrusting her into a world that will kill to protect their secret.

Hunter stirs Serena’s temper and her lust despite their differences. Soon he’s doing the unthinkable—breaking the rules he’s lived by, going against the government to keep Serena safe. But are the aliens and the government the biggest threats to Serena’s life…or is it Hunter?

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

#1 NEW YORK TIMES and USA TODAY Bestselling author Jennifer L. Armentrout lives in Martinsburg, West Virginia. All the rumors you’ve heard about her state aren’t true. When she’s not hard at work writing, she spends her time reading, working out, watching really bad zombie movies, pretending to write, and hanging out with her husband and her Jack Russell, Loki.

Her dreams of becoming an author started in algebra class, where she spent most of her time writing short stories….which explains her dismal grades in math. Jennifer writes young adult paranormal, science fiction, fantasy, and contemporary romance. She is published with Spencer Hill Press, Entangled Teen and Brazen, Disney/Hyperion and Harlequin Teen.

She also writes adult and New Adult romance under the name J. Lynn. She is published by Entangled Brazen and HarperCollins.

So to be honest, at first I didn't like the cover, but on second thought it goes very well with the Lux series (which is a YA series), I mean this book is for an Adult public so it's logical that the cover is a little different from the soft (yet sexy) covers of the Lux series, so I kinda like it now ! And, just saying, the guy on the cover is HOT!

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading

Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

No Attachments
"The silence between us streched on as he moved his eyes from mine and studied the water behind me. I had the uncomfortable feeling he was contemplating what he was doing with someone with my adolescent experience." ~p.94, "No Attachments" by Tiffany King

I love this cover !!! <3 I think it's my favorite in the series, it's a really beautiful cover and a good reminder of the first cover with a lot of meaning, since it's the last book in the series, I think Parajunkee did an amazing job !

Crossing the Line (Pushing the Limits, #1.5)

So in April I got to discover a lot of new series and read sequels, but there are mainly Adult Books and New Adult Books, actually Apollyon is the only YA Book for the last month (^_^;)

For this month I plan to read and finish all my "Currently Reading" books, because there's at least 20 books in this pile ( don't ask me why (actually it's not like the books are bad or boring, it's just because I wasn't in the mood, or some are my "bus-time" reads))
